Fairy Fudge Recipe from Floss!

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

Hello My Little Fairy Friends!

I have been most excited to write and tell all about my new recipe! First let me tell you how I came up with it…

It was a beautiful starry night and the fairies were all headed to Crystal Castle for our regular Fairy Council Meeting. We have this glorious meeting to discuss the fun we have had at the parties and how lovely all our new Fairy Princesses are. Also it gives the fairies a fun chance to catch up and most of all to eat!

Every fairy brings a different dish, Summer brought some scrumptious chocolate summer cake, Fairy Queen brought some cherios (she loves those), Sprinkles brought pizza (yum) and normally I would bring some fairy floss. BUT I was busy working away that afternoon on a new fabulous flavour for the fairies to try, Caramel & Tulip, and my machine started making strange noises! It turns out that I had put in too much caramel and it was all sticky! So my fairy floss machine is broken and I had to send it to the Pixie, who fixes everything in Fairyland, to get it repaired.

I was very upset and had nothing to take to Fairy Council for the fairies to eat and then I was talking to Blaze my Unicorn and he suggested fudge! So I did some experimenting and it was so tasty I thought I would share it all with you. Remember Little Fairies when making yummy treats in the kitchen make sure Mum or Dad are there to help. Sometimes things are hot and we shouldn’t touch them on our own!

Enjoy my lovely recipe

Love and Kisses

Hello My Darling Fairies!

I have not forgotten you all – I have been very extra busy! Let me tell you what I have been doing lately… my lovely little friend Pixie Jamoo from Pixie Hollow has been helping create a wonderful computer program that is going to help the Fairy Queen be extra organised for all your birthdays! We have made a lovely long list of all the parties we have attended and made sure to keep a beautiful list of all our wonderful new Fairy Princesses! Pixie Jamoo is very clever with computers and has special Pixie Magic, sort of like pixie dust, that he sprinkles on the keyboard to help him create the wonderful Fairy Files. I have to make him an extra sweet and sticky batch of Pepsi Cola Fairy Floss. It is not very good for his teeth but it is his very favourite flavour!

Speaking of teeth, I visited the Tooth Fairy the other day and she told me that you have all been losing your baby teeth and she hoped you were getting the surprises she was leaving for you. She was showing me some beautiful pieces of Fairy furniture that she was finishing of from the teeth she had gathered – there was also a lovely sculpture of the Fairy Queen’s Pegasus Glimmer, that she was making for the Fairy Queen’s Christmas present! Shhh though, it’s a surprise!

Oooh Christmas – I nearly forgot! I have so much to do still – although I have started to decorate for the Fairy Christmas Light Parade. My garden has been strung with some beautiful shining stars I got from Twinkle and some lovely lanterns that are different colours – of course they were from Rainbow! Then I got Stardust to come and light them all up for me so they glow wonderfully. I still need to do a little bit of shopping. I am going to get some new Fairy slippers from Flip’s Footsy Parlour down on Butterfly Way for the Fairy Queen this year I think, she has such a love for slippers and I might even get Rosebud to add some little tinkling bells to them.

Well I hope you are all very excited for Santa to come and that you are all being very good little Fairies and Pixies!

I promise to write again very soon my wonderful fairy friends!

Love and hugs,

Flossy’s Easter Bonnet

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

Oh Dear! Oh Dear! Oh Dear! Hello my Faiylings! I am so very busy and I have not written in so very very long! Well let me tell you what is happening – EASTER!

Do you know what that means – the Easter Bunny is coming and we have to get ready for the Parade and the Fair and the Easter Bonnet Competition. The Easter Bonnets are my favourite part! Every Fairy Princess keeps her bonnet a secret until the day and then we all come out to the parade in our beautiful bonnets! The Fairy Queen and her Prince judge the competition and I think mine might just win this year!

Shhhhh and make sure you only whisper it is a super huge secret! I am making a real live bonnet! My bunny Bounce, who you know is pink and fluffy, is going to hop around a big square bonnet and hide easter eggs! Bounce is going to have a beautiful grassy platform and some lovely little shrubs which the elves kindly gathered for me. And then I got some colours from Rainbow, some star dust from, well Stardust and some beautiful glitter from Sparkles to decorate the little eggs. And I just have to go and see Petals and Poppy to get some flowers from the forest and some long, curly ribbons to tie it under my chin from Ribbons!

Oh this is so exciting! I can’t wait to see how it turns out! I will be sure to tell you all about it next time!

Christmas Fairy Floss!

Friday, December 5th, 2008

Hello my little Fairylings,

Well as you know it is busy, busy, busy in Fairyland especially at this time of year – there is so much to do! I am making all the Fairy Floss (in assorted flavours) for the Crystal Castle Christmas Party and there are so many different types! I have to make over 100 different batches!

I am making little bunches of Fairy Floss clouds for each of the Fairies for Christmas – I got some beautiful crystal ribbons from Fairy Princess Crystal and some magical floating dust from Fairy Princess Stardust. I also have to make a special giant cloud for the Fairy Queen – in her favourite flavour; lemon gelato with watermelon sprinkles!

I have also found the most perfect dress thanks to Fairy Raine and Fairy Princess Rainbow! It is made from the most delicate little rain droplets resting on tiny little rainbows which makes it reflect so many beautiful colours! For shoes, since green is my favourite colour, Fairy Princess Jade whipped up some gorgeous jade shoes that match the green in the rainbows perfectly!

Oh it is such an exciting time – do you know that more that getting presents – I love giving them? My favourite present to give is a hug – everybody loves hugs and everybody needs hugs! So make sure you help Santa spread Christmas cheer by giving someone a hug and saying Merry Christmas!!

Well I must rush Dewdrops, I have lots to do and only so many hands to do it with – and OH NO! Thumper my beautiful fluffy pet bunny has gotten into the Fairy Floss maker – he is all sticky! Now I really have to go – he needs a bath *laughing*.

Merry Christmas Fairylings!

Love and bear hugs!

Fairy Floss and Bumble Bees!

Friday, September 19th, 2008

Hello My Beautiful Sparkling Fairies!

It has been such a long time since I have written I have been very busy. Between ensuring FQHQ is fully stocked with fairy floss, keeping my Pegasus Phinn amused and picking many a flower from the fairy forest, I have not had time to fly! It is also very busy with birthdays all over the world! And you all know how much we love to play! I also found a new friend in the fairy forest – a bumble bee named Buzz – he is an unusual bee – flowers make him sneeze! I thought that was very funny – can you imagine a busy little bumble bee who can not sniff flowers! Anyway, he is very good with gardening so he is going to look after the little garden outside my mushroom house and make sure to let me know when everything needs food and water.

I went shopping the other day and found the most delicious pair of fairy shoes, they were all shimmery and sparkling and I just loved the colours! They were pink and orange – I thought they would be especially fabulous for Blossom or Stardust! I might get them for one of their birthdays. Anyway, I had better be off – I have to change the flowers at Crystal Castle and I still need to make a huge batch of banana and raspberry flavoured fairy floss to take down to Pegasus Castle for Crystal. I keep telling her keep away from the Pegasus but she is so forgetful!

Lots of Fluffy Hugs and Kisses

Fairy Floss at the Fairy Festival

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

Hello Fairy Flossies!

Well as I am sure you all know the May Day Festival is fast approaching! We are all so busy that we have hardly had time to scratch our wings! I am looking after a lot of food and there are so many different things to worry about! I have to make sure I send the elves to get some fairy beads for me to sprinkle on our fairy bread – they will need to go down to the forest and find the rainbow flowers especially for them! I also have to make 11 different flavours of Fairy Floss! Oh dear – I have to make Pistachio for the Fairy Queen, Chilli for Crystal, Blossom just loves my Cherry blossom flavour & Stardust is all about the Honey! I have rose for Petal, Rainbow for Rainbow, White Chocolate for Snowflake, and Sherbet for Sparkles. Dewdrop for Sundance, Butterfly loves daisy, Raine’s favourite is lightning and Seashell of coarse loves my coral crunch!
Phew! And then I have to make some sushi as requested by Seashell, and there are fairy cakes and gingerbread wands, Dewdrop Punch and flower kebabs! I think I am going to need a lot of elves as it is nearly here and there is so much to do!

Oh No! I think that Pegasus Marigold has crashed into my Daisy patch so I will have to get some more from the Fairy Forest – oh well I had better go. I still need to pick up my dress from Petal who has designed and made me the most beautiful floral gown. It is made of Petals from all different coloured tulips and I can’t wait to see the finished product! I also have to get my shoes from Rainbow that match my dress with every possible colour imaginable! I am sure I will talk to you all soon.

All my most delicious Fairy Love
