Hey Hey Fairy Friends,
Well last weekend I attended a VERY special camp that is very near to my fairy heart. The camp I am talking about is Camp Quality. A camp where children who aren’t feeling very well attend and have a fabulous weekend full of games and activities. So I flittered on in to the fabulous mountains of Mt Tambourine. The views there are absolutely amazing and very pretty. I can see that all of our wildlife in Queensland have been looking after our trees and forest very well.
The Crystal Castle Fairies left a note for all the children attending Camp Quality saying that we would drop by this very day to laugh and smile and play all of their troubles away. Let me tell you, if you don’t think boys giggle, you are misguided. Three handsome little boys came and sat with me and giggled their heads off. “We’re the troublemakers because we giggle too much” they all told me.. I giggled too. They told me later on in the evening that they were holding a concert that night and they would all get to dress up.
There was so much to see and do at the camp and I wished I could have spent the whole night there. They had a jumping castle, a trampoline, and a heap of games to play. We played Duck Duck Goose for AGES and of course I was always chosen to be the goose, so I had to run lots and lots and lots and lots!
That night, when I got home I dreamt of their concert and saw them all dressed up! One was a Man in a Suit, another was an Army Officer and the other little boy was dressed as the Karate Kid - they told me that I could come as a Police Fairy and could just change from my Fairy clothing, and just keep changing roles because I’m magical. I might play dressups tomorrow night when I got home actually.
All of these beautiful children touched my heart deeply and I wish them all the sweetest dreams and magical days. They were all precious in their own ways and a little boy (Jai) who was about four years old, whispered in my ear to tell the Fairies back in Fairyland that he makes a wish upon a star every night and that he thinks they are all beautiful and he sees them in his dreams. So be sure to wish upon those stars and smile, because I hear they are contagious.
Lots of Fairy hugs and love to you all,
Fairy Princess Blossom

My darling fairy friends, do I have a wonderful idea for you!
You know how much fun it is to dance the Fairy Pokey?! Well why not make some Fairy Pokey biscuits with Mummy or Daddy or Aunty or Uncle or Grandma or Grandpa? (phew!).
These biscuits are scrumdiddliumptious and very easy to bake. Cinnamon helped me make some today and all the fairies, unicorns, birds, animals and other creatures had them for afternoon tea. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon dancing the Fairy Pokey - what fun!
Here’s the recipe:
Fairy Pokey Biscuits
Makes 30
Ingredients:
125g butter, softened
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 1/2 cups plain flour
Method:
Preheat oven to 180?C (160?C Fan Forced). Line 2 large baking trays with baking paper.
Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and creamy. Place golden syrup and milk into a heatproof microwave-safe jug. Microwave for 20 to 30 seconds on HIGH (100%) power or until hot. Stir in bicarbonate of soda (mixture will bubble up). Get an adult to help you with this part!
Add warm milk mixture to butter mixture. Stir until well combined. Sift flour over batter. Mix well.
Roll 2 teaspoonfuls of mixture at a time into balls. Place onto prepared baking trays, allowing a little room for spreading. Gently press biscuits down with a floured fork. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden and firm (springy) to the touch. Stand on trays for 3 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
NB: If you don’t have a microwave you can heat the milk and golden syrup in a small saucepan on the stove. Also, remember that the biscuits will firm up more when cooled.
——————-
Baking is ever so much fun and you get to eat what you make at the end - yum! Also, I tell you what, Mum will be so grateful if you help clean up afterward. You get it done twice as fast then there’s much more time to dance the Fairy Pokey - yay!!
Lots of love (freshly baked)

Hello my darling fairy friends!
I must tell you what happened to me the other day…
I was watering the rose gardens, singing a little tune to myself, when all of a sudden I heard a beautiful sound playing softly in the distance. I looked up and saw the most amazing rainbow in the sky. Red, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange and blue - all the colours were there, brightly shining. I heard the sound again, a soft chiming sort of sound.
As I was looking at the rainbow I noticed it seemed to finish at my cottage in the Enchanted Forest. I ran home as fast as I could to see what was at the end of the rainbow. As I got closer to the forest the chiming got louder. I ran faster, I was very excited by this time, I couldn’t wait to discover what was making that beautiful sound!
Finally, I reached my cottage and sure enough the end of the rainbow was right at my front door. And what do you suppose was there?
Bells my little fairykins! Bells of every colour of the rainbow, chiming merrily and dancing on my door step! As I got close to them they flew up and around me as if to say “We are a present from the rainbow, we want to help you make music!” I was so delighted - they make the most magical and magnificent melodies!
So if you hear a lovely chiming sound it might just be me and my rainbow bells making music for all of Fairyland.
Lots and lots and lots of love and music,
Rosebud xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Hello little Fairykins!
Christmas is just around the corner and I’m so excited! My special Christmas roses are helping me make a lovely carol for our Fairyland Christmas party - all the birds, animals and flowers will sing for the other fairies. Fairy Princess Fairy Floss is making gingerbread and candy cane flavoured fairy floss and it’s just scrumdiddliumptious! Fairy Princesses Rainbow, Butterfly and Sparkles have been decorating the Christmas tree at Crystal Castle and it looks just magical!
I’ve got some fabulous shoes for our Christmas party. They are pink and sparkly and with each step I take they play music - such fun! The silkworms that live at the bottom of the garden are spinning silk for my dress - so nice of them! I’ve been very busy wrapping presents for all the fairies and my animal friends. Cinnamon the rabbit and I have just been talking and we think the nicest thing about Christmas is all the lovely smiles. Make sure you give lots of smiles away this Christmas - it makes a fairy feel tickled pink!
Well must go sweet peas - Fairy Princess Stardust and I are giving a concert for Santa’s elves - they’ve been working so hard we’d thought they’d like a little music.
Lots of Love,
Fairy Princess Rosebud xoxo

Greetings fellow fairy friends
HAPPY HO HO HOLIDAYS!
The pegasii have decided that its far more exciting to watch the reindeer train for their big flight on christmas eve night, so they haven’t been practising as much as they should for the Christmas night spectacular… and for some reason they have all painted their noses red… mmm I wonder what that is all about (tee hee hee).
I am very excited about our christmas party this year as Fairy Princess Rosebud has a special surprise for us all. I can hardly wait! I shall be wearing the most loveliest gown designed by Fairy Princess Sparkles. It is covered in sparkles and swirls and has the most delicate tiny little presents anyone has ever seen stuck all over it! Can you keep a secret? I hope so, because at the end of the christmas party everyone gets to choose a present from my dress! Ooo I wonder what I should put inside each giftbox. Maybe you can help me. Think a thought and then wish really hard and I just know it will come true and then each of the fairies in fairyland will love the gift from you!!!
Well it seems poor Santa now has three pegasii trying to pull his practise sleigh! I’d best flutter off and get my pega-deer back (tee hee hee)!
Sweet wishes,
Fairy Princess Crystal

Hello my little Fairylings,
Well as you know it is busy, busy, busy in Fairyland especially at this time of year – there is so much to do! I am making all the Fairy Floss (in assorted flavours) for the Crystal Castle Christmas Party and there are so many different types! I have to make over 100 different batches!
I am making little bunches of Fairy Floss clouds for each of the Fairies for Christmas – I got some beautiful crystal ribbons from Fairy Princess Crystal and some magical floating dust from Fairy Princess Stardust. I also have to make a special giant cloud for the Fairy Queen – in her favourite flavour; lemon gelato with watermelon sprinkles!
I have also found the most perfect dress thanks to Fairy Raine and Fairy Princess Rainbow! It is made from the most delicate little rain droplets resting on tiny little rainbows which makes it reflect so many beautiful colours! For shoes, since green is my favourite colour, Fairy Princess Jade whipped up some gorgeous jade shoes that match the green in the rainbows perfectly!
Oh it is such an exciting time – do you know that more that getting presents - I love giving them? My favourite present to give is a hug – everybody loves hugs and everybody needs hugs! So make sure you help Santa spread Christmas cheer by giving someone a hug and saying Merry Christmas!!
Well I must rush Dewdrops, I have lots to do and only so many hands to do it with – and OH NO! Thumper my beautiful fluffy pet bunny has gotten into the Fairy Floss maker – he is all sticky! Now I really have to go – he needs a bath *laughing*.
Merry Christmas Fairylings!
Love and bear hugs!

Hellooooo Fairy Friends,
Well my oh my it has been such a fairy busy month here in Fairyland.. As you would know its that time of year again where the wonderful Santa Claus comes to visit everyone and leave special presents behind. Ooooh I cannot wait. Us fairies love christmas, it’s so great to be spending time with everyone you love and the best thing is all the presents!! We are preparing for our HUGE christmas party here in Fairyland. Fairy Princess Rosebud has been running around madly making sure the lovely rose gardens in Fairyland are all ready to sing their petals out for us at the party - they are such great entertainers and she is very proud of them.
I’ve already picked out my fairy dress for the party - Fairy Princess Bluebell helped me choose it too, she has the best fashion sense in Fairyland (even better than the Fairy Queen, but shhh, don’t tell her I said that!) I now have a pretty blue and pink dress that is just wonderful, and Fairy Princess Seashell bought me some lovely starfish jewels to sew around the bottom of the skirt, just to add that special Seashell touch! Luckily, Fairy Raine helped me put them on otherwise I would have been soooo lost. She reminds me so much of Fairy Godmother… *giggles*
I cannot wait to see what the other Fairies are preparing for the party - it’s such an exciting event! I’ve prepared a little surprise for all the fairies here - but I can’t tell you what it is… yet…
I’ll see you around, Fairy friends!
Lots of love and fairy kisses,
Fairy Princess Blossom

Hello Fairy Princesses, Frogs, Chickens alike..
Well I am just sooooo excited that I had to share this with you all.
As you all will know I have a Pegasus called “Wingz”, she’s a beautiful snowy white Pegasus with the brightest pink tipped wings. Now Wingz has been known to misbehave sometimes, and well, about a month ago, Wingz decided that she was hungry. Instead of flying down to Pegasus Meadowlands she decided to sneak into my little mushroom shoe cupboard and take two big bites out of my BEST silver glitter fairy shoes!! Can you believe it!!! It was so upsetting because I had to go to a few fairy parties with holes in my shoes (though I will admit, I could run a little faster with holes in my shoes).
Anyway, I came home tonight and the most beautiful decorated box was sitting on my front veranda with a little note. The note read;
“Dear Blossom, I’m sorry for eating your shoes, but they SO yummy. Here is a brand new pair for you. Love Wingz xx”.
I ripped open the box as fast as I could (just like you fairies do when we play pass the parcel) and out jumped the PRETTIEST pair of shoes I have EVER seen. They were white like the colour of Wingz with love hearts printed all over them in all colours of the rainbow. They are sooo comfy and I can run so fast, just like the wind.
So that, my fairy friends, was my very exciting present of today. Hope to see you all out and about soon.
Fairy kisses,
Blossom.

Hello My Beautiful Sparkling Fairies!
It has been such a long time since I have written I have been very busy. Between ensuring FQHQ is fully stocked with fairy floss, keeping my Pegasus Phinn amused and picking many a flower from the fairy forest, I have not had time to fly! It is also very busy with birthdays all over the world! And you all know how much we love to play! I also found a new friend in the fairy forest - a bumble bee named Buzz - he is an unusual bee - flowers make him sneeze! I thought that was very funny - can you imagine a busy little bumble bee who can not sniff flowers! Anyway, he is very good with gardening so he is going to look after the little garden outside my mushroom house and make sure to let me know when everything needs food and water.

I went shopping the other day and found the most delicious pair of fairy shoes, they were all shimmery and sparkling and I just loved the colours! They were pink and orange - I thought they would be especially fabulous for Blossom or Stardust! I might get them for one of their birthdays. Anyway, I had better be off - I have to change the flowers at Crystal Castle and I still need to make a huge batch of banana and raspberry flavoured fairy floss to take down to Pegasus Castle for Crystal. I keep telling her keep away from the Pegasus but she is so forgetful!
Lots of Fluffy Hugs and Kisses

Hello lovely Fairy Friends!
Well, well, what a fabulous Fairy Festival we had. It tired me out soooo much, it’s taken me a week to get enough energy back to be able to write all about it! (Plus, I’ve had to clean up lots after the party!)
So let me tell you all about it. The afternoon of the festival was a very busy one. Crystal, Blossom, and I ran around putting all the finishing touches on the decorations. Stardust’s Pixie orchestra arrived as we were threading the pink tulle around the chairs, and one of the pixies (Lulu I think her name was) got her wings stuck in a bit of the tulle, but JubJub the elf helped her out of it. We watched Fairy Floss bring out all her goodies - she must have been in her fairy kitchen for a week preparing the feast! I couldn’t resist sneaking a little of the Pistachio fairy floss - and oh boy was it good! I brought out the Sunshine Smarties and Blossom just went crazy (she loves them) and I had to stop her from diving into the big bowl and rolling all around in them! Fairy Raine bought along her grandmothers Cloud Juice, and she handed a crystal teacup to each of us to try - just to make sure she had added enough pearl dust. We all agreed it was the BEST Cloud Juice we had ever tasted.
Petal arrived with the fireflies - it was their job to light the stage during her dance routine and she got them all organised. Seashell bought Mermaid Takumi along to introduce to us - so she would know everyone by the time the festival began. I tested Rainbow’s Fairy Fizz Bomzles and they seemed like they were going to work very well indeed, but it was still daylight and so I couldn’t see what colours they were going to be - you really need to test bomlzes against the night sky to see the colours, but I just didn’t have time the night before.
It seemed like everything was pretty much ready - so I went back to Crystal Castle to have a dewdrop bubble bath and get ready for the big night ahead. I got dressed in my gown that I had made especially for the festival (oh who am I kidding, we Fairies get a new gown made for each and every event in Fairyland!). My gown was made from duckdown - that’s the soft part underneath the feathers from white ducks. All the ducks in Fairyland had been collecting down for me for the whole month and so we had lots and lots to make my dress with. It was the softest, most delicate dress I think I have ever worn, and it was a little fluffy as well! Once or twice during the night, a duckdown feather would float out of my dress, and would generally land somewhere near my nose and tickle me so I would sneeze. All the fairies thought this was funny as when I did sneeze, more feathers would fly out of my dress and make me sneeze even more. Maybe a dress from duckdown wasn’t the best idea (I sneezed LOTS) but at least I was warm and cosy as the night ended up quite cool.
So, the festival itself - let me tell you, I think it was the very best May Day Festival of Fairies that I have ever been to (well, in the last 400 years at least!). Stardust’s pixie orchestra played all our favourite tunes and we were amazed at how wonderfully she had trained the night stars to perform in time with her music. They jumped this way and that, and every now and then, one would go shooting far off into the night sky. Maybe you saw some of this if you were out looking at the stars that night, it can be hard to miss a shooting star as they go whizzing past. (Stardust tells me you should always wish on a shooting star as they generally grab the wish as they fly past). Rainbow set off her Fairy Fizz Bomzles then, and oh my, the colours were spectacular! There was sunshine yellow, rocket red, hot pink (just for Petal and Blossom), perfect purple, bright blue and of course, our favourite multi-coloured rainbow bomzle at the end. Fairy Princess Sparkles jumped a little when it started - something about an incident the year before, but I wasn’t entirely sure what that was all about. She appeared to enjoy the display though and I heard her afterwards telling Rainbow how great it all was. Next on the program was the African Fairies Traditional Tribal Flight - it was truly amazing. They formation flew and created all different African animals in the sky. I saw a giraffe, an elephant, a cheetah and my most favourite was when they formed the shape of a wildebeest. Just amazing work! Stardust’s orchestra played tribal drum beats throughout their display and it created the most wonderful atmosphere.
Next came Seashell’s mermaids singing “Shimmer Shimmer Ocean Glimmer” with Mermaid Takumi doing a special duet harmony with Seashell. They sounded incredible, their voices really did give us happy goosebumps, just like Seashell said they would! Mermaid Takumi was very impressed with Fairy Floss’s sushi as well - I heard her asking Floss for her recipe a little later in the night (way to go Flossy!). Next came Petal’s dance routine. Just as it started, all the tulips, snapdragons and bluebells opened up and the thousands of fireflies that Petal had organised earlier, flew out and lit the stage as bright as Rainbow’s brightest bomzle! Petal led all the Fairy Princesses of Crystal Castle in a dance called “I’m Bringing Fairy Back”. I haven’t seen such a funky dance routine since Petal did her “Summer Flight” for the Fairies of Timberlake Lodge back in August of 2004. I was so proud of my Fairy Princesses. It was obvious that they all put a lot of time and effort into the routine and I heard the LA Fairies talking about some form of movie offer…. fingers crossed for them all.
We all had a bit of a dance then, and more of Fairy Floss’s delicious food. Crystal spilled one of the Flower Kebabs down the front of her snowflake dress and the icicles on it turned all different colours. She quicly raced off then saying she needed to get the finale ready anyway. About 10 minutes later, Stardust’s orchestra sounded their trumpets and we all turned to see what was happening. At just that moment, the Pegasuii from Crystal’s Starfleet Alliance Team burst into the sky. The zoomed in all directions, weaving in and out of each other. They got so close to one another and were so fast, we all gasped and I saw Snowflake put her hand over her eyes a few times. They flew down so low, that we could all feel the wind on our faces as they dashed past. The Alliance team formed a line and then wingtip to wingtip, dove one after the other as if they were diving into a swimming pool. They each zoomed down and then back up high again and did an enormous loop-the-loop, one after the other. Very daredevil I must say! Then, more of Rainbow’s bomzles as the pegasuii flew amongst them - and all of a sudden, Crystal appeared atop Pegasus Regali with an enormous torch fire in her hand which shot flames of multi coloured shooting stars across the night sky. As Crystal began to slowly twirl atop of Pegasus Regali her beautiful snow dress released tiny sparkly snow flakes that fell gently on top of all the Fairy folk. As each snow flake landed it exploded in to a tiny present for each of the Fairies and their friends to take home as a keepsake of their wonderous night. Finally Pegasus Regali flew past me and a tiny gold snowflake landed gently upon my head, leaving the most amazing Autumn Crown for me to wear. The Pegasus Alliance team zoomed through the night sky in a cloud of exploding Gold Bomzles and then disappeared into the dark night sky with the sounds of Fairy oohing and ahhing echoing far behind them. I then declared the night to be over and invited everyone back for a wonderous cup of marshmallow chocolate.
Such fabulous Fairy fun!
Talk to you all soon,
